Generally, candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination (XII standard) conducted by the Government of India or an equivalent examination shall be eligible to join the first year of the UG degree courses in this University, subject to the condition that the candidates satisfy certain specific conditions, if any, prescribed by the University, for admission to the respective courses.
All the candidates who have qualified with the following examinations are exempted from the production of Eligibility certificate, during admission to UG Diploma and Certificate courses
The department is structured such as to educate managers and organization leaders of the future. These leaders and managers will be able to work successfully in an increasingly complex and ever-changing environment in order to attain and maintain a long-term competitive edge over their competitors. Intensive theory and practice-based curriculum are offered by our department which creates an academic experience that is contemporary, challenging, diverse, globally oriented, and professionally focused. The program requires the completion of 132 credits.
1. Understand the fundamental concepts and principles of Information Systems.
2. Demonstrate the ability to apply Systems Development methodologies and tools.
3. Be able to construct databases with the use of Centralized and Distributed Database Management Systems.
4. Recognize the importance of different types of hardware and software platforms and Operating Systems.
5. Perform computer simulation of information systems and computer networks
6. Understand different aspects of management that are relevant to the information systems function of an organization.
7. Demonstrate the ability to apply the Internet and Web Development tools for eCommerce applications.
8. Develop critical and strategic thinking, improve analytic skills and techniques and enhance effective decision-making
9. Understand social and legal issues both within local and global environments.
10.Acquire proficiency in English and utilize effective communication skills.
11. Gain IT skills that are conducive to research using various resources and databases.
12. Apply knowledge acquired into the practical experience through an on-site internship(s) before graduation.
13. Gain ethical consciousness and behavior required by the MIS discipline.
