The Department of B.Com (B&I), B.Com (A&F), and B.Com (FS) were established in the year 2018. The Department has signed MoU with the Insurance Institute of India for offering B.Com (Banking and Insurance) and signed an MoU with Tally have a well connect with Industry to train the students on skill / practical records on their current areas. The department is highly focused on research and development activities to inculcate research culture among faculty and students. The department functions are multifaceted in a way to maintain quality education at a global standard.

B.Com (Accounting & Finance) course is designed to develop an understanding of management accounting, financial accounting, taxation, etc, the course aims at imparting broader financial knowledge to students by which they can manage accounting projects, financial modeling, and contemporary developments in a professional career. Students undergoing this programme will develop requisite conceptual and application skills for this industry.

The programme is designed to groom future managers who can successfully handle complex business issues. In the changing global scenario, innovation is a major driving force for achieving competitive advantage through the creation of new business opportunities. To meet this challenge there is a huge requirement for trained banking and financial professionals in the country. The program aims to churn out skilled and talented Finance and Management professionals to fulfill the requirement of the corporate sector in general, Banking Insurance, and Financial Services sector in particular. This rigorous training at IPE would enable them to be industry-ready.

B.Com Financial Services program prepares for a challenging and rewarding career in the customer sales and service areas of, Banking, Insurance, Financial Planning, Wealth management, and analyst and investment advisor.

In this program, build on pre-existing business skills, financial knowledge, and professional experience. You are introduced to financial products and services and financial advising. You learn how to create and present financial plans. As well, you practice collecting and analyzing client information and providing financial advice based on that information.

Computer Lab

The Computer lab provides the opportunity to enhance learning through the use of computers. The department has a separate lab with 100 computers for the students to gain knowledge on computers.

Our Department Library consists of a good collection of books on Business and economics, Legal and Legislations, Accounting books with Multi-volume sets and other professional books which help the students in Civil Service and other professional exams.
