There’s a blend of hypothetical and practical exposure to the students. The faculty members have wide knowledge in the Commerce sectors which would enable students to learn in many aspects. The faculty members are participating in various Faculty Development Programs to meet up the student’s expectations. The students are educated magnanimously to meet industrial needs.

The Department conducts various competitions, alumni interaction, workshops, conferences, seminars, and conferences to boost the students. It helps them to enhance their skills and work in all other sectors. The students are trained in such a way to shine in society.

Our department has eleven classrooms which are very well equipped with ICT facilities; the department has a library and computer labs which could accommodate 60 students. Department of Commerce – I have a Library which consists of 385 books pertaining to different genres of commerce. Our College library is running 24/7 and available with unlimited e-resources like Delnet, Ntl and also focuses on commerce stream. It has 750 e-books, 400 e-journals, five international journals, and twelve National journals.

In the academic year, 2019 – 20 around 138 students registered in placement, and all the registered students got placed in various companies. Added to this nine of our students are placed in TCS and two of them are placed in Genpact Limited.

In the academic year 2018 – 19, all the 136 registered students got placed in many companies. Added to this eleven of our students are placed in HDFC Bank and one of them placed in TCS.

In the academic year 2017 – 18, a total of 134 members enrolled in placements, and all of them got placed. Added to this five of our students got placed in Deloitte and a few of them are doing their higher studies.

In the academic year 2016 – 17, the total numbers of students were 146 out of which registered for placements are 135. All 135 students got placed in various companies. Added to this four of our students were placed in Infosys and a few of them are doing their higher studies.

In the academic year 2015 – 16, 80 of our students have registered in placement and 60 of them got placed and a few of them are doing their higher studies, some of them had other genres to concentrate on.
