Rathinam College Of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu is now a Recognized Social Entrepreneurship, Swachhta & Rural Engagement Cell (SES REC) Institution. The Institution has successfully framed the SES REC Action Plan and constituted ten working groups for improving facilities in the Campus and the Community/Adopted Villages in the areas of Sanitation & Hygiene, Waste Management, Water Management, Energy Conservation, and Greenery post-COVID-19, along with the observation of three environments, entrepreneurship and community engagement related days to inculcate in faculty, students and community, the practices of Mentoring, Social Responsibility, Swachhta and Care for Environment and Resources.

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a methodology adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, to rank all the institutions of higher education in India. About 3500 institutions voluntarily participated in the first round of rankings. Ranked three times in a row.

National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) was established by the UGC in September 1994 at Bangalore for evaluating the performance of the Universities and Colleges in the Country. Assessment and Accreditation is broadly used for understanding the “Quality Status” of an institution. Our Rathinam College of Arts and Science has accredited with “A” grade.

Our Chairman Dr. Madhan A. Sendhil received a “Leading Edupreneur Award” for his contribution and success in the field of Education. And he was received the award from our former Governor Dr. K .Rosaiah. The award was given by The Times of India.

Our Secretary Mrs. Shima Sendhil was honoured by the Government of India. She received “100 Women Achievers Award” for Education. It was facilitated by our esteemed President Shri. Pranab Mukherjee, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg , CEO Facebook and Smt. Menaka Gandhi, Minister of Women and Child Development.

Raj Television Network Limited honoured Our Secretary Mrs. Shima Sendhil. She received “Women Achiever Award” in the field of Education and Development. She received the honour from the hands of Dr. K. Vijaya Karthikeyan, I.A.S Commissioner of Coimbatore in March 2016.

Rathinam College of Arts and Science received “Best Mass Communication Institution with Excellent Campus in Tamil Nadu” award for the outstanding contribution in the field of Media and Mass communication in the year 2015. It is a great Honour and Privilege for our Institution. The award was given by World-Wide Achievers Pvt.Ltd., India Today and Aaj Tak TV.

Our Rathinavani 90.8 – Community Radio received “National Award” for “Recognized for production and Broadcasting of creative and Innovative content” from the hands of Our Honourable Minister Mr. Arun Jaitley in 2015. The Award was given by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.

Rathinam College of Arts and Science received “Real Hero Award – 2015” from Indian Foundation. This Award was given for the outstanding contribution done towards Chennai and Cuddalore flood Relief work in the year 2015. The Award received from the hands of Dr. K. Vijaya Karthikeyan, I.A.S Commissioner of Coimbatore. It was given by Associated Cement Companies Limited

Rathinam College of Arts and Science received “Platinum Zone- IAB Blind Empowerment Champions 2017” award for the outstanding excellence and amazing commitment towards voluntary contribution for the empowerment of visually challenged persons from Indian Association for the Blind.

Rathinam College of Arts and Science received “Best Students Boys and Girls 2k16” from Indian Foundation. The Award was given by Cosmo Sivakumar and it was received by Mrs. Shima Sendhil, Secretary, Rathinam Group of Institutions.

Rathinam College of Arts and Science National Service Scheme unit received “Clean and Green Diwali Awards 2016” for Recognition of outstanding Commitments towards Celebration of Eco Friendly Clean and Green Diwali. The Award Received from the hands of Dr. K. Vijaya Karthikeyan, I.A.S Commissioner of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation.

Our Rathinam College of Arts and Science received “Swachh Bharat Mission Recognition Award” for the outstanding commitment to community service and valuable contribution towards construction of swachh Bharat Individual Household Toilets.
